Aviation and Space Sciences is a unique field of study that encompasses the latest information, scientific discoveries, and technological applications. Advancements in this field not only drive technical developments in other engineering disciplines, but also play a crucial role in promoting the independence and sovereignty of countries.

Our faculty's main objective is to educate engineers who are capable of designing and producing air and space vehicles using innovative and interdisciplinary research and development-oriented education models. Additionally, we aim to produce engineer managers who can use industry resources efficiently and effectively, maximizing innovation and productivity.

Our education policies are developed in line with the mission and vision of our university and faculty, with a primary focus on meeting the crucial needs of our country in the field of Aviation and Space.

Our university's Defense Technologies Postgraduate Education Programs (PhD, Master with thesis) are tailored to the needs and problems of our defense industry.  The studies of our students continue with their second academic advisors, who are provided from the defense industry.

Our faculty has two departments: Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. Aeronautical engineering department welcomed its first undergraduate students in the 2022-2023 academic year, and preparations for the Astronautical engineering department are ongoing. Aeronautical engineering students attend English preparatory classes, and those who pass the preparation continue their undergraduate education. Our undergraduate programs place emphasis on subjects and applications that are closely related to defense industry companies.

We would be delighted to have you join us and experience the education and research atmosphere of our faculty firsthand.

Kind regards
